About Harman Construction

A Tacoma native, Alex Harman has over twenty years of construction experience and over $100m in project valuation completion. Starting at an early age, Alex worked for his father's small building and development company in all phases of the construction process before attending the University of Washington. After graduating, Alex went into the wholesale lending market working with lenders to package debt instruments sold on the secondary market.  He then spent several more years working in money management and running his own financial advising practice. Although he had a thriving practice, Alex's true passion was construction and land development. Alex decided to bring his unique background of financial expertise and hands-on construction experience back to Tacoma, where he started his own company, Harman Construction, in 2010.
